Duties
- Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircutting, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning tailored to each pet’s breed and individual needs
- Handle animals safely and gently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences, provide grooming recommendations, and discuss pet care needs
- Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming environment within the mobile unit, adhering to health and safety standards
- Manage pet handling with care, demonstrating proficiency in dog handling, animal restraint, and animal care best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming
- Strong animal handling skills with an emphasis on companion animal handling and animal restraint techniques
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and providing outstanding customer service
