Bales Hay Sales Front is looking for a bi-lingual, friendly and enthusiastic front line customer service and sales at the feed store counter — ringing transactions, answering product questions, taking and routing orders, and keeping the sales floor stocked and clean.
- Greet customers and process sales accurately on Shopify POS (cash, card, account/charge)
- Answer questions on feed, hay, tack, and supplies; make basic product recommendations
- Take customer orders and route tickets correctly
- Stock, face, and rotate product; flag low or out-of-stock items
- Maintain accurate pricing and price-card placement on the floor
- Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory as assigned
- Keep the counter, floor, and store frontage clean and orderly
- Handle returns, exchanges, and basic customer issues per store policy; escalate when needed
- Open/close register and balance drawer accurately
- Support delivery scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a set schedule including Saturdays
- Strong customer-service manner and clear communication
- Comfort with basic math, POS systems, and handling cash
- Able to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk and bend for full shifts
Preferred (not required)
- Familiarity with livestock feed, hay, equine/ranch products.
- Prior retail, or feed-store experience
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
