We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Director to lead the daily operations of several busy healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical and administrative operations across all practice locations
- Develop and implement standardized workflows, policies, and procedures across all sites
- Ensure consistent patient experience and operational efficiency at each location
- Manage vendor relationships, supply chain, and capital equipment purchases
- Lead new site planning and opening from buildout through stabilization
- Serve as primary point of contact for facility and IT-related issues across the practice
- Develop, implement, and monitor the annual operating budget across all locations
- Oversee revenue cycle management including billing, collections, and denial management
- Analyze financial performance and provide regular reporting to Practice Management.
- Identify cost efficiencies and revenue enhancement opportunities across the organization
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Monitor and track payer contract performance and reimbursement by payer
- Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability
- Supervise healthcare staff including nurses, administrative support personnel, and clinical teams; foster a positive work environment through effective human resources management and managerial communication
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards, and local health policies
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems or other EHR (Electronic Health Records) platforms for accurate medical records management and patient data security
- Coordinate with medical providers to facilitate acute care and managed care services while maintaining high standards of patient management software utilization
- Oversee medical billing processes, coding accuracy, and reimbursement procedures to maximize revenue streams
- Implement quality assurance protocols related to medical records accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and clinical documentation standards
- Lead clinic initiatives related to healthcare practice management improvements, staff training, and process optimization
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a clinical setting
- Extensive background in medical office experience with familiarity in managing teams as a healthcare practice manager
- Strong knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as experience with patient management software is essential
- Prior supervisory experience supervising healthcare staff such as nurses or administrative personnel
- Solid understanding of fiscal management principles including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing procedures
- Experience working within dental or medical clinics with exposure to acute care or critical care environments preferred
- Excellent managerial communication skills combined with customer service orientation for effective team leadership and patient interaction

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
