We are looking for a full-time (36+hrs/week) Nurse Practitioner to work in an urgent care practice in Queen Creek to start ASAP. One year experience as an urgent care or ER provider or in a busy family practice office is a must. Will consider new NP grad with 2+ years working in the ER as an RN.
Skill set must include ability to provide outstanding customer service, basic x-ray and EKG reads and procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, toe nail removal and pelvic exams.
We are a smaller, no-drama, family-owned practice without the hospital or corporate owned non-sense that comes with other urgent care jobs out there. We are open 8-8 Monday through Saturday and 8-4 on Sundays and holidays. Must work fair share of weekends and holidays. No part time positions are available at this time.
Responsibilities
- Fabulous and friendly bedside manner
- Self starter; able to work quickly
- Sole provider in a clinic at times
- Understand and code visits appropriately using ICD10 and CPT.
- Order and interpret lab tests, X-rays (X-rays over-read by radiologist)
- Schedule flexibility - we generally work 12 hour shifts and share weekends and holidays
- EMR/computer competent
- DOT physicals - Must get certified within 6 months
