American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certifications.

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within Women's Services on the 2nd floor
-
17-bed unit with patient ratios per AWHONN standards
-
Night shift schedule from 7p-7a with rotating weekend hours
-
No call requirements
-
Float requirement to NICU
-
Responsibilities include circulating and recovering Cesarean sections

Active RN license (NM or Compact) required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Fingerprinting required prior to hire per New Mexico state requirement for all clinical staff, with documentation showing the background check is in process
-
Travelers may begin work under a 14-day waiver while awaiting fingerprint results, but must be supervised during this period
-
Facility is a 199-bed, Joint Commission accredited hospital with Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Certified Primary Stroke Center designations

Scrubs are provided by the unit

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate

Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
