C2G Environmental is seeking an experienced Hi-Rail Grapple Truck / Railroad Operations Lead for our Railroad Services Division.
We are looking for an experienced railroad professional who will play a key role in supporting railroad maintenance, emergency response, environmental services, derailment response, vegetation management, cross tie replacement, material handling, and infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States.

Duties
- Proven experience operating hi-rail grapple truck required.
- Valid commercial driver’s license required. (CDL)
- Safely operate Hi-Rail Grapple Trucks and Material Handlers
- Load, unload, and transport railroad cross ties, rail, ballast, and track materials
- Operate on active railroad property in accordance with railroad safety requirements
- Assist with railroad maintenance and environmental response projects
- Work closely with railroad personnel, supervisors, and project managers
- Maintain production goals while operating safely and efficiently
- Complete required daily reports and equipment inspections
- Assist with emergency response operations as needed
- Travel throughout Middle and Eastern U.S. (KY, OH, TN, IL, KS, TX, NC)
- Oversee shipping & receiving processes at construction sites or rail yards, ensuring materials are handled efficiently and safely.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Hi-Rail Grapple Truck or Material Handler experience
- Railroad maintenance or construction experience
- Experience working for a Class I Railroad, Short Line Railroad, or Railroad Contractor
- Knowledge of railroad safety rules and operating procedures
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

- CDL (Preferred)
- DOT Medical Card

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
