Our client, a growing mechanical services company in the Hartford area, is seeking a Dispatch Operations Manager to lead a centralized team and drive day-to-day operational excellence. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong dispatch, scheduling, and team management experience.
Job Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-8 individuals
Oversee daily operations including technician scheduling, customer communication, work orders and services
Develop and improve standard operating procedures, workflows, and best practices
Monitor and report on key operational metrics including technician utilization, response times, drive time, and work order status
Partner across the organization to maintain consistent processes and deliver exceptional customer service
Qualifications
5+ years of leadership experience in dispatch, service operations, field service, logistics, or a similar environment
Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and improve performance metrics
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Mechanical services industry experience is a plus
