$17.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential = $18.00/hour
Post-Training Promotion (Weekend Shift Operator):
Friday–Sunday | 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented Backup Operator to support our 2nd-shift production operations. This role is designed as a growth opportunity for someone ready to learn, lead, and advance.
You will begin by training on 2nd shift, working side-by-side with experienced operators to fully learn the production line, equipment, and processes. Once fully trained, you will transition into the primary Operator role for our weekend shift start-up, taking ownership of the line and playing a key role in launching and running weekend production.

What You’ll Do
- Feed raw materials into production conveyor machinery
- Monitor and learn the production line to ensure smooth, efficient operation
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to verify product and material specifications
- Make, fill, and maintain production binders and documentation accurately
- Inspect products for quality and take ownership of line output
- Make mechanical and process adjustments to maintain consistent product quality
- Understand and assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Clear excess materials and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Provide direct support to the Lead Operator and production line as needed
- Step in as acting Lead Operator when the Lead is absent
- Operate a forklift safely and responsibly while adhering to all safety standards and procedures
- Notify leadership of material needs, quality concerns, or equipment issues
- Coordinate with team members to maintain productivity and efficiency
- Uphold strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork expectations
- Perform other duties as needed to support production goals
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of basic maintenance concepts
- Good fundamentals in mathematics, including measurements and calculations
- Proven ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Understanding that product quality is the responsibility of the operator and the line
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Dependable, accountable, and ready to take initiative
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified)
- Prior production, manufacturing, or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to stand for up to 9 hours and work in conditions that may include temperature changes, dust, and noise
