Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support early childhood development, including literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.
- Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, sensory activities, and physical education to promote holistic growth.
- Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate special education practices and adapt activities for children with disabilities or additional needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student assessments, behavior logs, and developmental milestones in compliance with childcare standards.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with infants or toddlers in early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, including preschool experience and toddler care.
- Familiarity with instructional design, curriculum development, and lesson planning tailored for early learners.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs using inclusive teaching strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
