American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology position requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and NIHSS certification.

,7M Oncology unit within a hospital setting
-
18-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
-
Patient population includes oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and Med/Surg overflow cases
-
Uses computer, IV pump, vital sign machine, and other basic medical equipment
-
EMR system used is Epic
-
AM shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No call requirements
-
Floating required as needed

Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS (AHA)

2+ years of Med/Surg experience required

Acute care experience preferred
-
Provide compassionate, patient-oriented care to a diverse oncology and Med/Surg patient population

Navy scrubs required; only scrubs and scrub jackets permitted as attire

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
