Responsibilities
- Set up and operate forming machines and other production equipment to meet daily production goals.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and shop drawings; measure parts using precision instruments and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and perform basic troubleshooting to maintain output quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area; follow safety standards and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Conduct routine quality checks and document inspection results; assist with simple tool changes and basic maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience operating forming machines and general machining equipment on a 2nd shift
- Proficiency with measuring instruments, shop math, and reading mechanical blueprints
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production and basic math skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform precision measurements
- Familiarity with quality inspection, tooling handling, and use of hand tools
- Basic forklift knowledge and willingness to learn additional premium skills (CNC-related) as needed
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
