What You'll Do -
As a provider at Summit Health & Pain, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients across a variety of clinical settings.
- Perform detailed patient evaluations, physical examinations, and medical assessments.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies and imaging.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust care based on patient progress.
- Prescribe medications and other appropriate therapies in accordance with Colorado regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR - AdvancedMD).
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Coordinate care through referrals and collaboration with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and remain current on evidence-based medicine and evolving clinical guidelines.
- Foster a welcoming, compassionate experience for every patient while promoting exceptional clinical outcomes.
What We're Looking For -
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant!
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Active and unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license.
- Active and unrestricted Colorado DEA license
- Current national board certification appropriate to specialty.
- At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience (required).
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Compassionate, patient-first approach to care.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
