Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Framing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects.
- Construct and install wall frames, roof trusses, floor systems, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
- Measure dimensional specifications precisely with tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Perform metal stud framing, metal building erection, and steel reinforcement tasks such as rebar installation.
- Handle concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, and siding installation as needed for project completion.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like lifting heavy materials or positioning large structural elements.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to follow safety protocols, meet project deadlines, and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout each phase of construction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing carpentry or related trades such as masonry or roofing.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings for accurate execution of plans.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices like tape measures, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary for roofing or scaffold work.
- Experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall finishing, and trim carpentry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction management practices and the operation of heavy equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interpret technical instructions accurately.

Pay: $25.78 - $27.00 per hour
