Star Harbor Care is a small backup childcare team serving working families across Dallas-Fort Worth. When a nanny is out, school closes, or a child is home sick, we send a trusted caregiver into the family's home.
We are a close group of caregivers who support one another. You will join a thoughtful team where we share what we learn, look out for each other, and take pride in showing up well for families.
We are looking for two part-time caregivers so we can cover the full week. Most visits last 4 to 8 hours, and you will travel to homes across DFW. Reliable transportation and arriving on time are important, and we offer travel reimbursement.
What you will do:
- Care for infants through school-age children in family homes
- Arrive with warmth and confidence, follow the family's routine, and keep children safe, fed, and engaged
- Stay in close communication with Star Harbor and the family before, during, and after each visit
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have childcare experience as a nanny, teacher, daycare provider, camp counselor, or consistent babysitter
- Are looking for extra income
- Enjoy meeting new families and settling in quickly
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Can pass a background check and share professional references
- Have CPR and First Aid, or are happy to get certified before you start

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
