Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, commercial facilities, or hospitality environments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and maintaining floor safety standards
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with health guidelines
- Manage janitorial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and ensuring cleaning equipment is properly maintained
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning process
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is a strong plus
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning and floor care methods
- Background in customer service roles demonstrating strong communication skills
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Previous experience managing or supervising housekeeping teams is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail and efficiency
