Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to use computerized maintenance systems such as Ultimo or SAP/CMMS.
- Ability and willingness to operate a forklift/fork truck; certification can be obtained if needed.
- Ability to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Experience in manufacturing, plant maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a similar environment preferred.
- Experience maintaining production equipment such as blending and packaging equipment, pumps, valves, conveyors, hot oil systems, and steam systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical equipment issues.
- Experience or ability to perform fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, and pipefitting.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and manual labor.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a technician team.
- Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, data entry, tablets, and digital work-management systems.
- Willingness to work different shifts during training.
Preferred
- Prior forklift/fork truck experience- WILL TRAIN IF CANDIDATES DO NOT HAVE IT
- Industrial or plant maintenance experience.
- Experience identifying operational improvements and taking initiative on continuous-improvement projects.
- Experience with vendors, contractors, maintenance projects, and material ordering.
Pay: $24.00 per hour
