Bridge Maintenance Laborer – Margate Bridge Company
Ole Hansen and Sons is hiring for two full-time laborers for maintenance and repairs of the Margate Bride(Downbeach Express) property. Properties include the privately owned movable span toll bridge and 3 fixed bridges along with 2 miles of paved causeway leading from Northfield to Margate City, NJ. This position works out of a bridge maintenance yard including warehouse/shop on property.
Typical work functions include, but not limited to:

marine construction
-
concrete and asphalt repairs
- minor structural steel repairs

minor electric and mechanical repairs

traffic control
- snowplowing
-
operating and maintenance of company equipment including dump truck, backhoe, pickup trucks, work barges and skiffs and typical accessory construction equipment.
Schedule:

Monday through Friday but must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by occasional emergency event or special project timing.

Requirements

Must have a valid active New Jersey Driver's License and Class B CDL License preferred or willing to obtain one within 90 days of job placement

Qualified candidates must have practical experience in related construction trades, welding and electrical experience is a plus.
