Position: OnCore CTMS Budget & Effort Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced OnCore CTMS Budget & Effort Analyst to support a growing Clinical Research Revenue Cycle team. This individual will play a key role in managing clinical trial budget builds, calendar modifications, and financial workflows within the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building and maintaining budgets and calendars in OnCore, along with a solid understanding of sponsored research financial operations and the clinical trial lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to join an established team and contribute to the long-term support and optimization of clinical research financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Independently build and maintain clinical trial budgets and study calendars within OnCore CTMS.
- Create and modify study calendars, budget amendments, and associated financial configurations in accordance with executed agreements and institutional guidelines.
- Perform quality reviews to ensure budgets, calendars, billing designations, and study financial data are accurate and compliant.
- Analyze budgets and agreements to confirm alignment between sponsor contracts, study protocols, and OnCore configurations.
- Troubleshoot budget builds, calendar structures, visit schedules, and subject management issues within OnCore.
- Collaborate with research finance, clinical trial invoicing, research operations, and IT teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct handoff meetings and provide support and training to study teams and invoicing staff on the effective use of OnCore budgets and calendars.
- Respond to stakeholder requests for modifications, corrections, and ongoing system support.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience building budgets and calendars within OnCore CTMS.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sponsored research, clinical research finance, or related financial roles.
- Experience supporting commercial clinical trial financial workflows and revenue cycle processes.
- Strong understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle, including study startup, budgeting, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience working with clinical trial protocols, contracts, and grant agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within an Academic Medical Center (AMC) environment.
- Prior experience supporting centralized clinical research finance or research administration teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
