Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, or polishing to keep them spotless and safe for guests and staff
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Follow established cleaning protocols for industrial or specialized cleaning tasks when necessary
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning activities to ensure a safe environment
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards is a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to industrial cleaning environments
- Previous supervisory or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
