Purpose of this position:
Provide nursing care in compliance with The Eastern Star Home policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. The CMT assists nurse with medication administration and other duties in compliance with CMT certification training while also providing CNA duties that includes assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL's), transfers, and skin, bowel, and bladder programs. Answer call alarms, assist with feeding, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and loving environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Valid CNA Certificate. Valid CMT certificate. Have to be able to lift and do transfers (more than 50 pounds). Must be able to walk and/or stand for 2 hours at a time. Must have lots of patience and ability to understand the needs of our residents - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Shifts Available:
- Part Time Day Shift - Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday (6am-2:30pm)-1 opening
- PRN Day Shift - 1 opening
