Position Overview
Dance Moves is seeking an energetic, positive, and experienced Hip Hop Instructor to join our team for the 2026–2027 season. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, enjoys working with children and teens, and can create a fun, encouraging classroom environment while providing quality technical training.
The ideal candidate has experience teaching group classes, creating choreography, and inspiring dancers of all levels to build confidence, musicality, and performance skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach Hip Hop classes for dancers ages 6 and up
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Create choreography for classes, showcases, and performances as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Encourage student growth, confidence, and creativity
- Communicate professionally with studio leadership and staff
- Arrive prepared with lesson plans, music, and class materials
Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching dance classes to children and teens
- Strong background in Hip Hop dance with formal training and/or professional experience
- Ability to teach both foundational and advanced Hip Hop concepts
- Experience creating choreography for groups
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Passion for working with children and helping students grow both as dancers and individuals

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
