Window World of the Rio Grande Valley is looking for an experienced Coil / Capping Installer who knows how to professionally measure, cut, bend, and install aluminum trim coil around windows and doors.
This is a skilled position. We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on experience operating a sheet metal brake and fabricating custom aluminum trim in the field.
If you have strong brake and coil experience, we are willing to pay for that experience and skill level.
What You'll Be Doing
Measure, cut, bend, and form aluminum trim coil using a sheet metal brake
Fabricate custom exterior trim pieces in the field
Cap and wrap windows and doors
Wrap existing wood, brick mold, frames, sills, headers, and exterior trim
Create clean corners, seams, bends, and finished edges
Properly caulk and seal completed work
Work alongside our window and door installation crews
Ensure completed projects have a clean, professional finished appearance
Maintain your tools, equipment, and work area
Experience We're Looking For
Required:
Hands-on experience using a sheet metal brake
Experience bending and forming aluminum trim coil
Ability to accurately measure and fabricate custom trim
Experience with exterior residential construction or remodeling
Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
Additional experience is a big plus:
Window and door capping
Soffit
Fascia
Siding
Exterior aluminum trim
Replacement window installation
Replacement door installation
Flashing and water-management techniques
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a craftsman, not simply someone who has worked construction.
You should be comfortable taking a flat roll of aluminum coil, measuring an opening, determining the bends needed, and using a brake to fabricate a clean, professional finished product.
We value people who take pride in the details—straight bends, tight corners, clean seams, proper caulking, and a finished installation that looks great when the homeowner sees it.
