Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic – Valley View, Texas
Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our growing, privately owned small-animal practice.
We are a close-knit team looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and enjoys working with both animals and people.
Veterinary experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are happy to train an enthusiastic, motivated person who has a genuine interest in veterinary medicine and is eager to learn.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities will depend on your experience and training and may include:
- Assisting veterinarians with appointments, examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
- Preparing patients and treatment areas
- Collecting blood and other laboratory samples
- Running in-house laboratory tests
- Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with surgical procedures
- Monitoring patients during procedures and recovery
- Taking and positioning patients for radiographs
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by the veterinarian
- Maintaining accurate patient medical records
- Communicating professionally and compassionately with pet owners
- Cleaning and maintaining treatment, surgical, and patient-care areas
- Working closely with veterinarians and other team members to provide excellent patient care

Position: Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant
Employment: Full-time or Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: Based on experience
