Duties
- Assist Client's with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling equipment such as lift assist, gait belts, wheelchairs and walkers.
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to office staff.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist seniors during mealtimes to promote proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties in client's home.
- Give medication reminders following HIPAA guidelines and care plans under supervision or as trained, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Engage client's in social activities and provide companionship to foster mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, including patient monitoring logs and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with seniors or caring for family members is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to observe patients carefully and respond promptly to their needs; experience with patient observation is essential.
- Certification in PSS or CNA is sought but not required; additional training provided, medication reminders, and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, assisting with mobility, and supporting client's during daily activities is necessary.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
