Position Summary:
Lead the successful delivery of complex construction projects while driving profitability, operational excellence, and long-term client relationships. The Senior Project Manager serves as a strategic leader, partnering with executive management to strengthen project execution, improve company processes, and mentor the next generation of project managers. This role plays a critical part in achieving Moltus Building Group’s commitment to completing every project safely, ahead of schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while contributing to the company’s continued growth.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

Lead Project Delivery: Oversee multiple complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
- Drive Financial Performance: Develop accurate project estimates, monitor job costs, manage budgets, negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements, approve invoices, and proactively identify opportunities to improve project profitability.
- Build Client & Industry Relationships: Serve as the primary liaison with owners, architects, engineers, municipalities, and key project stakeholders while identifying and pursuing profitable design-build and negotiated project opportunities.
- Develop Project Teams: Mentor and coach Project Managers while partnering with General Superintendents and Field Managers to strengthen project execution, quality control, scheduling, and collaboration across field and office teams.
- Manage Project Planning & Controls: Lead project scheduling in Microsoft Project, oversee procurement, coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries, manage submittals, change orders, contract compliance, and project documentation to keep work progressing efficiently.
- Improve Operation Excellence: Partner with executive leadership to develop and refine company processes, maintain estimating resources and project standards, and implement best practices that improve consistency, efficiency, and overall project performance.
- Own Risk & Contract Management: Evaluate contract documents, identify project risks, resolve design and construction issues, negotiate changes, secure contract time extensions when needed, and ensure accurate project records throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field or work experience.

5+ years of experience and/or extensive knowledge within construction project management/estimating (including project scheduling, document management, and cost/budget control).

Strong leadership, management, communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Capable of developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with coworkers, contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and customers/clients.
