TITLE: Workday Prism Analytics Lead – Workday Reporting, Dashboards & AI Analytics
LOCATION: Remote with quarterly travel to Lincolnshire, Ill.
PAY: Target pay for this role is between $60-75/hour
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract-to-Hire
DURATION: Expected conversion after 3–6 months
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
This is a Senior-level Workday Analytics and Reporting position.
We are seeking an experienced Workday Prism Analytics professional to lead enterprise reporting, dashboard development, analytics modernization, and AI-enabled reporting initiatives. This is a highly visible role where you will partner directly with business leaders and executives to transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate is an expert in Workday Prism Analytics and Workday Reporting who enjoys working with business stakeholders, developing executive dashboards, and building scalable analytics solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor for reporting strategy, helping business leaders better understand their data through impactful visualizations, reporting frameworks, and intelligent analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize Workday Prism Analytics datasets, transformations, and reporting solutions.
- Build executive dashboards, Discovery Boards, Composite Reports, and advanced reporting solutions.
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable analytics.
- Create meaningful insights and recommendations from enterprise data.
- Develop scalable reporting architectures supporting multiple business functions.
- Support integrations related to Workday Prism reporting outputs and downstream applications.
- Help enable analytics and reporting data consumption by enterprise applications and AI-driven platforms.
- Stay current on emerging Workday AI capabilities, Data Lake functionality, analytics modernization initiatives, and reporting innovations.
- Promote reporting best practices, data governance, and analytics excellence across the organization.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years of experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Reporting, and enterprise analytics solutions.
- Deep expertise with Workday Prism Analytics, Advanced Reporting, Discovery Boards, Dashboards, Composite Reporting, and Calculated Fields.
- Strong experience building executive dashboards and business-facing reporting solutions.
- Experience creating analytics solutions that drive business decision-making and operational insights.
- Familiarity with Workday AI capabilities, Agents, Agent System of Record (ASOR), Data Lake, or intelligent reporting solutions.
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment – we do not sponsor work visas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certifications in Prism Analytics, Reporting, or related Workday disciplines.
- Experience with analytics modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-enabled reporting and intelligent insights platforms.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders and leadership teams.
