We are currently hiring a Technician for observations of clients during samples however all regardless of gender are encouraged to apply. A urinalysis technician collects and handles urine samples for testing. Urinalysis is used for drug and alcohol testing and understanding of panels and testing is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be familiar with all policies and procedures, specifically with all policies regarding facility and contracted sample collection.
- Provide monitoring of clients during sampling process with highest regard for the protection, confidentiality and integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of clients and samples
- Answer telephones, route and screen calls,
- Assist in compiling and maintaining quality assurance of files.
- assisting client with completion of initial paperwork.
- Coordinate scheduled appointments
- Collect client co-pays at the time of services, maintain payment records of payments received and balances due, if any.
- Attend staff meetings and/or training as required.
- Oversight of lab at the facility, distribution of samples via mail and ensuring that mail is sent out on a daily basis.
- Ensure that any clinical issues regarding clients be referred to the Program Director and/or client's Counselor/Case Manager.
- All other duties assigned by supervisor in accordance with professional development and client welfare.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.50 - $14.00 per hour
