Join our construction team as a Construction Laborer and be an essential part of bringing building projects to life! As a General Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency on every project and will directly report to onsite project foremen.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to support construction activities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and transport of supplies around the site
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of plans
- Assist in building assembly and erection using aerial lifts and cranes
- Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in related trades such as pre-engineered building erection and maintenance, carpentry, masonry, or roofing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, work at heights (roofing), and operate heavy equipment or commercial vehicles if needed
- Strong work ethic with excellent teamwork skills; punctuality and reliability are essential
