Caffe Luciano's is a lively, casual restaurant in the Garden City, ID area. We are looking for a Restaurant Host with afternoon and evening availability, that has reliable transportation and is able to run to-go orders to neighboring businesses. We have a wonderful and healthy environment with people who are driven and are looking for the same thing.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests
- Record reservations over the phone and in person
- Buss and clean tables at a fast pace
- Provide general support to the Front of House staff as needed
- Prepare the restaurant before an event and during busy times if necessary
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make them understandable
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and orderly restaurant
- Focus on customer satisfaction and create a legacy of great customer service
- Run to go food orders
- Can handle a fast pace
- Can manage stress in busy times
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Host
- Hands-on experience in check-in, check-out
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Able to handle fast paced environments while maintaining an even and friendly demeanor
