Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their preferences and needs
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves
- Perform regular stock checks, inventory counts, and assist with stocking to keep the sales floor fully supplied
- Provide clear phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Offer bilingual support when needed to serve a diverse customer base effectively
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively
- Bilingual communication skills to serve a broader clientele
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Retail sales experience in grocery stores or similar environments is advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Prior cashiering experience with attention to detail in cash handling procedures
