Job Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a CT Technologist, where your expertise in advanced imaging techniques will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care. In this energized role, you will operate sophisticated computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients’ internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and related radiologic imaging equipment with precision to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
- Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging procedures.
- Assist with specialized imaging techniques including PET scans, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans (for bone density), and interventional radiography procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Ensure all medical equipment is operated safely and maintained properly; troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of CT tech experience.
- ARRT and BLS certifications
