We are seeking a dependable, experienced Team Lead to join our leadership team for a consistent 20-hour-per-week schedule.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others, creating exceptional customer experiences, and helping a mission-driven organization thrive.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support team members throughout the day
- Open and close the café independently
- Ensure excellent customer service and hospitality
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Support inventory management and communicate ordering needs
- Assist with training and coaching team members
- Help coordinate special events and community activities
- Ensure daily tasks and operational standards are completed
- Communicate effectively with ownership and leadership
Qualifications
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
- Coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable leading a team and holding others accountable
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Passion for serving others and supporting an inclusive workplace
