In this role, you’ll install, service, and repair garage doors for both residential customers and light commercial clients. No two days are the same—one day you may be replacing a spring in a customer’s home, and the next you could be installing a full door system for a home or business.
Pay: Up to $35.00, hourly + sales commissions + company vehicle and gas card included
Role Responsibilities:
- Install, service, or replace residential and light commercial garage doors, openers, keypads, tracks, springs, and hardware.
- Safely perform repairs including spring replacements, cable adjustments, and door realignments.
- Build rapport with customers through thoughtful sales interactions and explain work performed clearly and professionally.
- Inspect systems and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
- Maintain a clean work vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Role Requirements:
- 2 or more years of garage door repair, installation, or service experience.
- 1 or more years of customer-facing or field sales experience.
- Physical requirements: Standing, lifting of 50 lbs., carrying 50 lbs., walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching above and below shoulder level; full use of hands, good finger dexterity, lifting from floor to waist and twisting of torso.
- Valid driver’s license with a passing driving record.
Preferred requirements:
- Intermediate experience with service software (Service Titan or similar)
