We are looking for an assistant to work with children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old. This is a part-time position working from 11:30 - 5:30 Monday through Friday. The hours are not flexible. You will be covering teacher and assistant lunches in the classrooms and on the playground, helping administration with projects/tasks and supervising children in the AfterCare program. Candidates who are new to the Montessori Philosophy will be coached and guided throughout the year. This employee will be responsible for closing the school.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all children.
- Keep lines of communication open with administration.
- Become familiar with the Montessori Philosophy.
- Encourage grace and courtesy.
- Accept coaching and direction from admin and other staff members.
- Responsible for closing/locking up the school.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
