Laboratory Technologist 1
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or another laboratory science
Minimum Experience: Familiarity with basic laboratory procedures
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of biology, chemistry, medical technology, or related science
Good communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adhere to safety and quality procedures
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to operate laboratory equipment or be willing to learn operation
Willingness to learn complex assays and relevant computer software and systems

Laboratory Technologist 2
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or another laboratory science
Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Intermediate knowledge of biology, chemistry, medical technology, or related science
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adhere to and promote safety and laboratory quality procedures
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Must be able to operate basic laboratory equipment or be willing to learn operation
Willing to learn complex assays and relevant computer software and systems
Senior Laboratory Technologist 1
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or another laboratory science
Minimum Experience: 4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of biology, chemistry, microbiology, and/or medical technology
Ability to troubleshoot suspicious results and verify laboratory findings
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to perform testing procedures on various clinical specimens
Ability to perform and promote safety and laboratory quality assurance/quality control procedures
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills

Senior Laboratory Technologist 2
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or another laboratory science
Minimum Experience: 6 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of biology, chemistry, microbiology, and/or medical technology
Ability to troubleshoot suspicious results and verify laboratory findings
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to perform testing procedures on various clinical specimens
Ability to perform and promote safety and laboratory quality assurance/quality control procedures
