Bartender | Job Summary:
The bartender is responsible for the guest experience. Primarily, he/she produces beverages according to Bacari recipes and standards while taking an active role in service. Show your guests a great time. Be the life of the party. Be an integral part of your guests’ experience. Make them want to be served by you every time they revisit. Taste everything before you serve it. Use your discretion to dazzle your guests. Go above-and-beyond. When the ball drops, dive. Make everyone feel important. Give the feeling of “can’t wait to be back.”
Bartender | Qualifications:
- Passionate approach to hospitality as well as food & beverage
- Highly competent in basic full-service restaurant practices as well as food, wine, beer, spirits, and craft cocktails
- Foundational service experience and/or a deep understanding and commitment to a high level of hospitality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in an environment with time constraints
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently
- Commitment to retaining information during the training process, including memorization of food/beverage offerings as well as restaurant standards and practices
- Knack for inspiring teammates to go above-and-beyond expectations
Bartender | Responsibilities:
- Maintain and be able to demonstrate complete knowledge of all food/beverage offerings, including seasonal specials
- Approach service with positivity and enthusiasm, including interactions with teammates, guests, vendors, and neighbors
- Execute restaurant standards of service as outlined in Server Training Handbook
- Demonstrate commitment to high standards of hospitality and providing an ideal guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area and all service areas
- Be willing to handle high volume with poise and grace, thriving under the pressure of a busy service
- Find solutions outside the standard scope of service to thrill our guests and, as needed, recover dissatisfied guests
- Consistently approach duties with a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail
- Perform secondary responsibilities, including cleaning tasks, stocking, and organization at the direction of team leaders
- Step outside the scope of responsibilities to assist team members with theirs
