Full Job Description:
Position: CDL Class A Local Truck Driver
Trucking Driver Type: 1099
Shift availability: Day shift
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Hazmat endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of CDL Class A experience
- Must have local driving experience
Responsibilities:
As a CDL Class A Truck Driver with our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our local customers. Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Operating and maintaining company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Transporting hazardous materials (HAZMAT) with the utmost care and adherence to regulations
- Following assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service through courteous interactions with customers during deliveries
- Representing the company in a positive and professional manner
- Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked
- Maintaining a clean and organized truck interior and exterior
