Dry Fly Saloon is a high-energy, hospitality-driven restaurant and bar located in the heart of Bozeman. We’re part of a hotel property with an ambitious food and beverage program, and a strong focus on guest experience, team culture, and operational excellence.
We’re looking for a Outlet Manager who leads from the floor, values great service, and knows how to build, train, inspires a strong FOH team, and has experience executing banquet events
Responsibilities
The Outlet Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of FOH operations, including service, staff development, guest experience, scheduling, bar oversight and banquet event execution. This role works closely with the Food & Beverage Director and Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations, strong financial performance, and a consistently excellent guest experience.
You’ll be the primary leader for servers, bartenders, casino attendants, event staff, and hosts—and a key culture carrier for the restaurant.
Service & Shift Leadership
- Lead every shift with a focus on exceptional guest experience
- Coach, train, and develop bartenders, servers, casino attendants, & support staff
- Build regulars and maintain a strong local relationships and reputation for the restaurant and casino
- Drive on-shift sales and service efficiency
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed consistently
- Maintain high standards for product knowledge, wine service, and hospitality
Team Leadership & Culture
- Hire, onboard, and train FOH staff
- Run effective pre-shift lineups (FOH & BOH)
- Provide clear, documented feedback and coaching
- Promote fairness and transparency in tip pools
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and positive intent
Scheduling, Admin & Promotions
- Write and manage FOH schedules aligned with labor goals
- Support restaurant promotions, events, and private dining
- Collaborate on menu rollouts and staff training materials
- Ensure HR documentation and onboarding compliance
Inventory & Cost Awareness
- Set and manage weekly liquor, beer, and wine pars
- Conduct weekly counts and track bar cost
- Maintain organized bar and LBW storage areas
- Minimize waste while ensuring consistent stock levels
Desires Qualifications and Experience
- 4+ years of restaurant experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Shift Lead or Restaurant Manager or similar position
- Flexible in schedule and willing to meet the demands of a restaurant within a popular destination
- Self-motivated, well organized, ability to motivate others
- TIPs/ServSafe certified, or equivalent
- Has a passion for the hospitality industry and enjoys working with dynamic teams and operations, including bar costs and LBW inventories.
- Working understanding of beer, wine, and cocktails.
- Candidate is detail oriented and highly organized
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 70 lbs). Work Environment
- Medium - volume hotel restaurant (125-seat dining room)
- Attached gaming room with 14 machines, a pool table, dart boards, etc.
- Part of a 170 - room hotel property

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
