Position Summary
The Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and daily operations of Little Stars Academy at Cumming. This position ensures a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children while maintaining compliance with all Bright from the Start regulations and company policies. The Director leads staff, builds strong family relationships, and promotes excellence throughout the center.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily center operations.
- Ensure compliance with Georgia licensing regulations.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
- Develop staff schedules and classroom coverage.
- Maintain enrollment and family records.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and the community.
- Conduct staff meetings and professional development.
- Monitor classroom quality and curriculum implementation.
- Maintain required licensing documentation.
- Manage budgets, supplies, and purchasing.
- Ensure the center remains clean, safe, and organized.
- Handle parent concerns professionally and promptly.
- Promote a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of three years of childcare management experience.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing regulations.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Successful background check.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to respond quickly during emergencies.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
