Partners for Housing (P4H) is currently looking for part-time Shelter Support Staff who will work at both or either of our Emergency Shelter locations in St Peter and/or Mankato.
Our part-time team members typically work 5-25 hours/week, including evening and weekend, including holiday shifts based on their availability, however must work at least one shift on the weekends:
- Monday: 3pm-10pm OR 5pm-10pm
- Tuesday: 3pm-10pm OR 5pm-10pm
- Wednesday: 3pm-10pm OR 5pm-10pm
- Thursday: 3pm-8pm OR 5pm-10pm
- Friday: 3pm-10pm OR 5pm-10pm
- Saturday: 9am - 4pm OR 4pm - 10pm
- Sunday: 9am - 4pm OR 4pm - 10pm
Our Support Staff is responsible for ensuring guest safety and promoting a positive environment. Team members will connect guests to resources, lead fun activities for guests, and are also accountable for housekeeping/cleaning duties, stocking of supplies, inventory, etc. When staff work overnights, they are allowed to sleep or study after bedtime checks and cleaning list has been completed.
Ideal candidates will be responsible and dependable, have good communication skills and solid decision-making abilities, experience with conflict resolution, know how to set boundaries, keep personal information confidential and work well with people. Must be 18 years old or older and able to successfully pass a background check to work with us.
