Roby's Furniture & Appliance in Tillamook is seeking a dedicated Warehouse and Delivery Associate to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse and timely delivery of furniture and appliances to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately receive, unload, and store incoming merchandise in the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are easily accessible for delivery.
- Prepare items for delivery, including assembling furniture and appliances as necessary.
- Load delivery vehicles in a safe and secure manner, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Drive delivery trucks to designated locations, following predetermined routes and schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Complete delivery paperwork and collect payments as required.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse and during deliveries.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
