Summary:Ship and receive products and supplies. Perform all related work to ensure inventory accuracy and contribute to excellence in customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize the dispatch and delivery of outgoing materials, orders and samples and perform associated tasks in Oracle for shipment of product.
- Ensure associated packaging of all outgoing shipments meets requirements and regulations for both domestic and international shipments
- Repack products as necessary following standard repack procedures.
- Compare identifying information, counts, and weights of items for incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Receive, unload freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Properly inspect incoming materials for package integrity (inform manager of rejections/ leakage/ tampering).
- Procure, log, and inventory retain samples for all incoming raw materials.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and in proper warehouse location.
- Distribute incoming packages upon arrival to proper intercompany depts.
- Follow proper handling procedures of materials and supplies to minimize potential for damage or injury.
- Follow management instructions to prioritize daily work to meet deadlines for receiving materials and shipping orders and samples.
- Report to manager on shipping schedules, delays, problems, etc.
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of the warehouse and keep work areas safe and free of hazardous or dangerous conditions.
- Adhere to company policy including safety and use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Handle any warehouse project assigned
- Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001
- Remain accountable for all defined responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows
Position Competencies:
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to efficiently coordinate with co-workers, take direction from immediate supervisor and work well as member of a team.
- Skilled in prioritizing workload and performing well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent ability to follow safety and official procedures.
- Forklift Operation Certification.
- Must possess endurance and strength needed to load and unload materials.
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; Forklift Operation Certification; IATA, IMDG & CFR certified

Work Environment:
Daily exposure to warehouse elements such as noise, dust, odors. Minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating equipment and/or working with chemicals
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to control, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is often required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch and is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and or move objects up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. Activity also includes pushing and pulling of warehoused products or other objects. The employee often must perform repetitive movements and be physically active for long periods without getting tired or out of breath. The employee must be able to determine the distance between objects and see differences between colors, shades and brightness.
