Remote Medical Coder – Family Practice
Pay Rate: $18/hr
100% Remote
We are hiring an experienced Medical Coder with strong Family Practice / Outpatient coding and auditing experience.
Must Have:
- 2+ years of outpatient medical coding experience
- Recent Family Practice coding experience
- Strong expertise in E/M leveling
- Proficiency with 2021 E/M coding guidelines
- Current CPC certification
- At least one additional current certification:
- CPMA – Certified Professional Medical Auditor (HUGE preference)
- CEMC – Certified Evaluation Management Coder
- CDEO – Certified Clinical Documentation Expert Outpatient
- Currently certified through AAPC or AHIMA
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Experience with Excel reports
- Strong background in medical coding and auditing for Family Practice
- AAPC certificate number required for credential verification

CPC + CPMA or CPC + CEMC
