Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our dining area in a fine dining setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience while maintaining high standards of food management and team performance. This position reports to the Food and Beverage Manager
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dining room staff to ensure efficient service.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in best practices for customer service and food management.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure timely food delivery and quality standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain inventory of dining supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dining area.
- Assist in bartending duties as needed, providing guests with beverage options.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred, along with knowledge of coffee preparation.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
