BMC Global Manufacturing islooking for a detail‑driven Quality Control Inspector to join our precision machine and fab shop. This role ensures that all machined components meet customer specifications, internal standards, and industry requirements. You’ll work closely with machinists, programmers, and production leads to maintain a high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections on machined parts.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other metrology equipment.
- Operate and interpret results from Faro arm, optical comparators, and other inspection systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and customer specifications.
- Document inspection results using shop travelers, digital logs, and non‑conformance reports.
- Identify and communicate quality issues to machinists and supervisors.
- Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions when defects occur.
- Maintain calibration and cleanliness of inspection tools and work area.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of QC inspection experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Proficiency with standard precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections simultaneously.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/QMS systems).
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Experience with CMM programming is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
- Experience inspecting aerospace, oil & gas, medical, or defense components.
- Ability to perform surface finish, hardness, or material verification tests.
