Commercial Electrical Foreman
Delta Bravo Electric, LLC is hiring a Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead crews on commercial construction, remodel, retrofit, and tenant finish-out projects in the DFW area.
We are looking for a working foreman who can lead from the front, lay out work, read plans, keep crews productive, coordinate with project managers and other trades, and make sure the work is done safely, correctly, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Lay out daily work and assign tasks to crew members.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and jobsite needs with the Project Manager.
- Install and oversee conduit, wiring, feeders, branch circuits, panels, transformers, switchgear, lighting, devices, controls, motors, generators, and related electrical systems.
- Monitor work in progress for quality, safety, code compliance, and production.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and help resolve field conflicts or plan discrepancies.
- Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, project managers, and other trades.
- Complete daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, material requests, and other required jobsite documentation.
- Train, guide, and hold crew members accountable.
- Enforce company safety policies and jobsite safety requirements.
- Maintain a professional jobsite presence and represent Delta Bravo Electric in a positive manner.
Requirements
- Current TDLR Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical foreman experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Strong commercial electrical experience required.
- Ability to read plans and run work without constant supervision.
- Knowledge of NEC code requirements and jobsite safety practices.
- Ability to manage manpower, plan ahead, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing jobsite conditions.
- Basic math skills for layout, measurements, conduit bending, wire sizing, and material planning.
- Ability to communicate clearly with crew members, project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
- Must be dependable, professional, and willing to work as part of the crew when needed.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on active construction sites.
- Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, stand, and work from ladders or lifts as needed.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, meters, testers, and other electrical equipment.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor jobsite conditions.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime as needed
- Project-based work in the DFW area
Pay
Pay is based on experience, license, leadership ability, and overall fit for the position.
