Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bowling Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on bowling alley machinery, including pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, and lighting fixtures
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics, electrical blueprints, and precision measuring instruments
- Conduct equipment diagnostics utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults accurately
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, track repairs, and schedule future inspections
- Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely for accessing high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret electrical systems schematics and blueprints to facilitate precise repairs and modifications
- Collaborate with vendors or technical sales teams to procure parts or upgrade equipment as needed for optimal performance
Skills
- Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments with a focus on mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical system repair including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading tools
- Skilled in welding ( welding techniques), hydraulic systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, and the use of engineering troubleshooting methods
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, HVAC experience preferred for climate control components within the facility
- Ability to operate field service equipment including scissor lifts safely while adhering to safety standards
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining positive guest interactions
- Industrial electrician experience is highly desirable along with knowledge of electrical blueprint reading and electrical maintenance practices
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting complex machinery
