Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Lead to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences in our cafe and at catering events. This position is part time, but could lead to full time.
Crossroads Cafe is a small business, owned and operated by family and friends. We have a warm and welcoming atmosphere and commitment to providing the best quality service to our community. This position will work closely with our Catering and Operations Director and our owner to ensure high quality operation in all areas.
Duties
- Leading catering team at events including weddings, corporate events, family events, and any other event as needed.
- Support banquet and catering events by setting up, serving, and breaking down as needed.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, including inventory and organization.
- Corresponding with customers to aid in setting up events.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to lead in a team and work independently
- Experience in the food industry, including knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to handle food safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
