Job description:
The substitute teacher is a very important part of our team. Substitutes will be on call, standing by for when one of our usual staff members is unable to report to work. The ideal substitute is full of energy, enthusiasm, and a willing spirit to help in any way with the children. This positions requires a quick learner and an eager helper. You must be able to see what needs to be done and then hop in and do it. Substitutes will usually be serving in an assistant role and so must be good at helping and supporting. Open/flexible availability is ideal as the request to come in could be sent the night before or morning of the shift needing coverage.

Requirements
Qualifications - vary, depending on classroom:
Education - all candidates must have a High School Diploma, and be willing to obtain CPR/First aid certification
All candidates must also have the following:
- Experience working with young children; school-setting experience is preferred.
- Mastery of the English language, as spoken and written, to permit effective communication with parents.
