We have an exciting opportunity for a HHA coordinator. The coordinator hires, schedules and manages Home Health Aides (HHAs) and homemakers for our Boston Office.
The position is located in our Head Office in Jamaica Plain.
We are located in Jamaica Plain. This is a fully in-person position.
Pay is dependent on education and relevant experience.
Key Tasks:
Patient Intake
- Receive and coordinate patient referrals for the Boston branch. That is, new home health patient admission.
- Typically ensure all clients are scheduled within two days of the referral
- Track referrals
- Build relationships with referrers
HHA Performance Management
- Match HHAs with clients based on HHA skills, availability and patient needs
- Creating and communicating caregiver schedules
- Initial scheduling of new client plan of care
- Ensuring HHAs perform their jobs
Hiring
- Contact Home Health Aide applicants for the Boston branch
- Conduct Interviews and reference checks
- Gives the list of approved applicants for orientation to the trainer
- Reviews and submits the completed hiring package for the new employees to HR.
Ideal Skills and Experience (not necessarily required)
- Bi-lingual - must be able to read and write English and Spanish
- Management or Supervisory experience

- Basic computer skills are required

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
